DAILY POST: Always report to police when you lose your ID- See how KINYANJUI landed in trouble after DUSIT terrorists used his lost identity card. , , , , , 00:41 Saturday, January 19, 2019-A 26 year old man working as a trainee nurse at Nazareth hospital found himself in trouble after the terrorists who carried terror attack at Dusit used his identity card to register the cell phone they were using in communicating during their heinous mission.
Eric Kinyanjui was shocked when police visited his workplace and questioned him about the Dusit hotel attack where he was accused to be among the facilitators. The shocked nurse  informed police that he was a victim of mistaken identity and put it clear that he was  not in communication with any of the terrorists

Kinyanjui told police that he lost his identity card last year July and he suspects the terrorists might have used his ID to register one of the phone numbers that they communicating with during the attack.

Luckily, he reported to police after he lost the identity card. Kinyanjui  was questioned but he  was not required to travel to Nairobi to record statements with CID.

However, he was told he will be summoned latter to record more statements. Any-time you lose your identity card, make sure you report to police and obtain an abstract. Criminals these days are using lost ID cards to register phone numbers which they use to communicate and this might land you in  jail.
