On two occasions within a period one month, blogging site https://cnyakundi.com has lifted material from https://kenyannewsday.com and re-posted it on its site word for word, without any attribution to the source.

This information has been relayed to us by some of our readers who not only feel cheated but question the value of our work alongside those published by https://cnyakundi.com

The editors of https://kenyannewsday.com take great exception at this open theft of intellectual property and copyright infringement.

The Nyakundi blog carried stories with different headlines but which were lifted word for word from Kenyan News Day.

Then this week, again the blog carried another story with a different headline on the drama surrounding the suicide death of Prof Abel Mugenda which was wholly plagiarized from Kenyan News Day.

Another site that is notorious for routinely siphoning articles from Kenyan News Day and republishing them without permission or attribution is Kenyan Digest.

Kenyan Digest does not even bother to customise content to be relevant to its site with its editors to lazy and only interested to plagiarize and republish all of Kenyan News Day articles word for word.

What is tragic is both sites have heavily monetised their content and devalue original work that they stole by their wanton commercialisation.

Today we call out these psuedo journalists and backstreet bloggers.
