The Love & Harmony Festival had been scheduled for February 6th.
Chimano’s Love & Harmony Festival was to make its debut this past weekend but had to be called off at the last minute. It’s no fault if the organisers seeing as they were fully prepared but the Kenya police put a stop to it in what they termed as “security reasons”.
In a statement issued by Chimano, it is promised that this is not the end of Love & Harmony and the festival will be back. The event was previously supposed to be held at Westlands but the police denied the organisers the permission, telling to look for a different venue. The event was then moved to the Junction mall but again, denied the opportunity to be held there by the police. “Both venues were and are more than willing to host us, however, without the Goodwill of the police, we cannot proceed. Goodwill which was unfairly and unjustly denied.” The statement reads.
“Bullies never win….. You’ve only made my resolve stronger. You may have gotten your cute little way this time but the show that I’ve been working so hard on will be seen! Take that as fact!” Chimano stated via his Intsagram account.
