Nigerian music star David Adedeji Adeleke popularly known as Davido is said to have purchased a mansion worth a fortune in Nigeria’s leafy suburb – Banana Island, Lagos.

The obviously excited father-of-three took to his social media to tease fans with snippets of the mansion’s interior that he revealed had an elevator installed as he has always wanted to have one in his crib.

“Always wanted to go up at the crib like this,” he captioned a photo of his elevator buttons in a series of videos shared via his Instagram stories.

Not so long ago, the 27-year-old Fall hitmaker disclosed that he has gotten a house for his staff and feels absolutely good about it.

That did not surprise many as the music star is known for his benevolence towards his employees, friends, fans and admirers.

“Bought a house for my staff today … great feeling!” he wrote on Instagram.

Recently, the Blow my mind crooner shared a very touching message on Instagram as his fiancé was fighting off COVID-19.

In the message, Davido made it clear that he was staying strong his fiancé Chioma tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

The award-winning singer shared a picture of his son with Chioma Avril Rowland, who was in isolation. In the caption, the singer said he and his son were trying their best to stay strong for Chioma.

“Staying strong for momma, everywhere good,” he said as he held his baby boy.

Making public news of her diagnosis, Davido had revealed he was on tour in the United States and met up in Nigeria with his fiancé who jetted from London and none of them had displayed any symptoms prior to testing.

“I came back recently from America after postponing my tour. My fiancé Chioma also came back from London recently with our baby. We had no symptoms and still both feel perfectly fine but because of our recent travel history, we decided to take ourselves and our all close associates we’ve come in recent contact with for the COVID-19 test on the 25th of March. Unfortunately, my fiancé’s results came back positive while all 31 others tested have come back negative including our baby.” He said.

The past weeks Davido has been on trending on social media after his counterpart Burna Boy picked a fight with him.

Burna Boy caught the attention of internet users after he shared a post on his Snapchat page just moments after Davido came out to describe himself and colleague Wizkid as the greatest African superstars.

Burna Boy in a Snapchat post that has now been deleted said: “You cannot play football; everybody knows you cannot play football and you are an embarrassment to the team but your daddy bought the football team.”

In a rejoinder, Davido dropped a subtle reply to Burna Boy via his official Twitter account.

“Love to my fellow ON G,” Davido tweeted.
