DAILY POST: Early Christmas as RUTO does wonders for his villagers in Sugoi-See what he did that left him a talk of town? News, Politics 22:59
Tuesday December 25, 2018-Residents of Sugoi Village in Uasin Gishu County were yesterday treated to an early Christmas after Deputy President William Ruto surprised them with goodies.
Hundreds of villagers, young and old gathered to listen to their son who asked them to share with the less fortunate in society during the Christmas celebrations as he led by example. "For those of us who God has blessed us with homes and you have extra bedroom or an extra seat in your house, give these homeless children a chance to be in your home.” “The over 2000 children we have in Uasin Gishu county can fit our homes," said the DP. Each of the residents who attended Ruto’s gathering received two packets of wheat flour, rice, sugar and a goat courtesy of the DP. Ruto has been buying goats from every goat auction in Kenya and gathering them for this very purpose. He was accompanied by his wife, Rachael, as he gifted residents of Sugoi.
