DAILY POST: Former Citizen TV presenter JOEY MUTHENGI opens up on her new job at the Voice of America (VOA) Editor's Choice, Entertainment News, Media News 08:53 Saturday, January 19, 2019- Former Citizen TV presenter, Joey Muthengi, has divulged more details of her new job with American based media house-VOA.
The happy-go-lucky lass landed the plum job barely two months after she left the Royal Media owned TV under unclear circumstances. However, Joey will not be moving to the US as many had thought but she will be their correspondent based in Nairobi.  “Guys, I’m not moving I’m a correspondent. I’ll be based in Nairobi But thanks to the people who only contacted me thinking I was moving. Y’ all is my real friends,” she wrote on Instagram. Last week, an ecstatic Joey revealed that she has been offered a job by the Voice of America (VOA)-a U.S government funded international radio based in Washington DC. “Joey, English to Africa Service Voice of America has an urgent job request for you, please review on play desk and accept or decline ASAP” read part of the email she received.  “OMG, Voice of America was my 1^st internship while in college. I can’t even. Look at God’s,” she added.
