Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia left the country Monday for Malawi where they will face hosts Nyasa Bullets in the return leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round match this Wednesday at the Kamuzu stadium in Blantyre.

The contingent of 25 people includes 18 players, five technical bench staff, one club official and a representative from FKF as head of delegation.

The first batch of 16 people are the ones that left while the second batch of nine people will be leaving on Tuesday morning.

KO’galo  won the first leg match 1-0 here in Nairobi last week and now they need a draw against the Bullets so as to qualify for the next round.

Gor Mahia traveled to Malawi after losing KPL Super Cup match 1-0 against Kariobangi Sharks at the Kasarani Stadium on Sunday.

The match is a curtain raiser for the new league season and pits league champions and the FKF Cup champions.
