Governor Sonko in mourning – Weekly Citizen

Embattled Nairobi governor Mike Sonko is in state of deep grief following the passing on of a close relative on January 4, 2020.

Sonko took to social media to condole the death of his cousin, Dida Hadija Hamisi, hailing her for her contribution and joy she brought the family.

“It’s with heartfelt condolences that I learn the passing on of my cousin, Dida Hadija Hamisi, daughter to my late Mum’s sister this morning,” Sonko condoled.

“She was Muslim, so she will be laid to rest today,” he revealed.

Being a member of the Islam community, Dida would be laid to rest on January 4, at 4 pm at the Kikowani cemetary in Mombasa county.
