Mombasa man jumps to death from ferry : The Standard

A man Friday died after jumping into the Indian Ocean from the ferry at Likoni channel in Mombasa. The unidentified 25-year-old man, jumped from MV Jambo as it was docking at Likoni at 12pm. Divers from Kenya Ferry led by assistant security officer Alton Nyambu removed the body moments later and it was taken to to Coast General morgue.

A witness said the man who lives in Jamvi la Wageni in Likoni was having wrangles with his wife and had been spotted at the ferry channel several times looking distraught. Likoni deputy police boss Selina Wanjala said the man committed suicide following domestic wrangles. "It is true the man committed suicide and we have information that he had family issues,"said police boss.
