The Committee organizing the burial for the late son of nominated Member of Parliament David Ole Sankok has appealed to the members of the public to refrain from politicking his death.

Bahati Member of Parliament Kimani Ngunjiri, a member of the committee says it is painful for the family to see politically instigated messages posted on social media platforms in relation to the death of the high school student Memusi Sankok.

Ngunjiri who spoke at the home of Sankok in Narok South Sub County said the nominated MP, like any other politician has a right to freely defend the political party that he believes in.

The late Memusi will be buried on Tuesday 10th at their rural home in Melili area, Narok North Sub County.

Memusi, 15, a form two student at Kericho high school died on Monday evening after allegedly shooting himself with his father’s shotgun.

The MP who confessed to being a long-term personal friend to the Sankok family announced that Memusi will be buried on Tuesday 10th at their rural home in Melili area, Narok North Sub County in a function that will be attended by Deputy President William Ruto.

He lamented that the family lost a young boy who had a great future in a regrettable manner asking all parents to be close to their children so that they can understand their needs.

The County UDA gubernatorial aspirant Patrick Ntutu also condoled with the family saying it was unfortunate that the incident had to happen.
