Raila, Senator Moi condole MP Sankok after son commits suicide

Azimio Presidential Aspirant Raila Odinga has condoled nominated MP David Sankok, after the loss of his first born son Memusi Sankok.

The 15-year-old high school student committed suicide at his father’s home in Ewaso Nyiro Narok County, shooting himself with his father’s firearm.

According to the sources Memusi had differed with his father over his performance in school before the incident.

Raila said, “It is painful to lose a child, and even more so, difficult having to bury one; we stand with you during this difficult time. Please accept condolences from Mama Ida and I. May God grant your entire family fortitude. We are praying for you,” He said.

Political leaders have united in grief to mourn Memusi as they condole the family with Baringo Senator Gedion Moi saying, “I convey my heartfelt condolence to Hon. Sankok and his family following the tragic loss of his son. You are in our thoughts and prayers Mheshimiwa during this difficult time. Take heart and find comfort in God the Almighty.”
