Kenyatta National Hospital Othaya Annex seeks to recruit dynamic, highly motivated, innovative and experienced individuals to fill the following vacant positions
Sonographer
Job Purpose
The officer will be responsible to the Senior Radiographer for the effective provision of
quality radiography services in the Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality ultrasound services to assist in diagnosis of patients’ conditions
- Review and analyzing reports for Physicians while observing quality standards
- Perform high quality x-rays and ultrasound examinations for diagnostic purposes
- Take care of the equipment in the unit
Qualifications
- Higher Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences (Ultrasound Option) or its equivalent from a recognised institution.
- Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences or its equivalent from a recognised institution.
- Registration with Society of Radiographers in Kenya (SORK)
- Valid Practicing licence from Radiation Protection Body.
- Proficiency in Computer applications.
- Fulfilling Chapter six (6) of the Constitution Kenya, 2010.
