In a bid to hunour the late Daniel Arap Moi, the state has indefinitely suspended all BBI activities pending the burial of the ex-President.

The move comes when the country was headed for political fireworks after DP William Ruto allies announced planned BBI rallies to counter that spearheaded by President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition chief Raila Odinga.

Ruto wing was set to host maiden rally in Bungoma County on February 14 even as President warned of parallel meetings.

Thereafter they had planned to move to Meru on February 15, Karatina February 15, Narok February 21, Kirinyaga February 22, Kericho February 28 and Nyandaraua February 29.

Raila team had similarly conducted their rallies in Kisii, Kakamega, Mombasa and Kitui.
