DAILY POST: This is what Somalia President told UHURU about DUSITD2 attack – AL SHABAAB dogs have nowhere to hide, they are cornered Politics 08:27 Friday January 18,2019- Somalia President, Mohamed Farmaajo, has sent a message of condolences to the victims of the Tuesday‘s Dusit hotel terror attack, where five Al Shabaab insurgents staged a bloody attack that left dozens dead and injured hundreds.
In a statement on Thursday, Farmaajo has said his government is ready to cooperate with Kenya in wiping out Al Shabaab from World map. “The government of Somalia is always ready to cooperate with our neighbours in all efforts to stop, eliminate and defeat the evil of terrorism." The Somalia’s Head of State said Somalia's thoughts and prayers are with the government and the People of Kenya. "Kenya is an important ally and brotherly neighbour.Such heinous acts only serve to embolden our joint quest to vanquish terror," he said.  Al Shabaab in a statement early Thursday said it carried out the assault on DusitD2 over US President Donald Trump's decision to recognise Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
