40 players selected to join football academies abroad

40 local players have been selected in both Under 17 and 19 categories as the scouts announced picking a handful with probable football careers abroad.

The three-day ‘MASA’ soccer academy camp that concluded Sunday brought together over 100 players who received football training under visiting Swedish coaches at Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani.

Visiting Swedish coaches Sean Balawo and Sebastien Dhaka expressed their satisfaction at the depth of talent that was on display at the three-day camp.

The scouts also moved to confirm their interest in signing Harambee Starlets forward Mwanahalima Adam who attended the camp on Saturday.

Finally, Bundes Fc have crowned the champions of Dagoretti south super cup after beating  Melta Kabiria 5-4 via penalty kicks after the match ended in a barren draw in regular time at  Ndararua grounds, Dagoreti, Nairobi.
