Kilifi Deputy Governor’s family asks Kenyans for forgiveness

Didier Madzayo, a UK-based artist who is a nephew to Kilifi Deputy Governor Gideon Saburi, issued an apology to Kenyans on Thursday, April 23. Taking to Instagram, the singer who is behind hits such as; Fatuma, Nasonga and Tunainama Tu revealed that his uncle had gotten so many hurtful comments and some people had even wished him dead. As if the anxiety stoked by the coronavirus wasn't stressful enough, I am also dealing with the pesky boredom of quarantine life. During the early days of the pandemic, I was going through therapy sessions and had more time to read, relax, and be creative. Then all of a sudden the endless rounds of learning TikTok dances, crazy and dangerous moves that have left me so astonished. Also I must admit that watching Instagram Lives are now feeling little bit monotonous and to some extent very boring🤦🏽‍♂️. Everyone is yapping. Every single person wants to open their mouth and say something. Anyway one of the ways that I used to stay productive was taking chances and mixing up my routine so that I can reconnect with loved ones. So I DM’d old pals, jumped on Houseparty with my mental awareness crew, call my family back in Kenya. Now I must stop here. Allow me to point out that there has been alot going on and so many hurtful overwhelming comments that have been issued or directed to Deputy Governor Kilifi County. to an extent of people wishing him dead. 🤔🤔Wow what happened to humanity?
