Man Utd Defender Rejoins Aston Villa on Loan

English Premier League club Aston Villa has confirmed the loan signing of Axel Tuanzebe from Manchester United.

The defender returns to Villa Park on a season-long arrangement.

Tuanzebe was a key member of the squad that helped Villa clinch promotion back to the Premier League in 2019.

He arrives at Villa Park just days after Jack Grealish left Villa for Manchester City for a record £100 million.

Before completing his Aston Villa move the 23-year-old had signed a contract extension at Old Trafford until June 2023.

The DRC-born player has made regular appearances in the Premier League, Champions League and Europa League for United over the past two seasons, impressing at both centre back and right back.
