The co-founder of Jubilee Christian Church (JCC), the Reverend Kathy Kiuna, celebrated her 52nd birthday in Nairobi during the weekend and it was an epic day.

It turned out far much better than she ever expected, as surprises kept emerging one by one, right from her hubby, Bishop Allan Kiuna, to her guests.

Well, it all started with a surprise birthday cake from the husband.

The preacher had planned to celebrate her birthday in the church in a special edition of the ‘Daughters of Zion’ meeting.

And being the fashionable woman that she is, she got glammed up for the day early in the morning and wow, she was looking youngish and fresh.

And when the time came for her to step out and go to church for the meeting, she was ambushed by some woman, who had come to pick her up.

She couldn’t hide her excitement.

And off they drove her to the church for the meeting. The joy on her face could tell that her day was already turning out to be perfect.

And pap, she arrived.

Right from the red carpet runway to a super decoration, proclaiming happy birthday to her, one could tell that something greater was coming.

Upon reaching the church, yet another surprise was waiting for her.

Her hubby showed up at the women’s meeting with a group of young men just to wish her a happy birthday.

She smiled all day with her hubby by her side.

And as if that was not too much already, there was a flashy dinner party after the church meeting.

It was a grand party right from the table setting to the royal red carpet on the walkway.

And to top it up was a sweet serenade playing as she walked in.

A birthday party can never be complete without a cake and hers was a four-staircase affair.

And then the birthday girl gave a speech that really excited her friends.

She noted that at 50, life is usually at its best stage.
