Section of Lang’ata Road to be Closed Over The Weekend, KeNHA Announces

The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced that a section of Lang’ata Road near the Nyayo Stadium Roundabout will be closed on Sunday, 20th March.

In a public notice issued on Friday, 18th March, the authority noted that the road will be closed from 4:00 am to 2:00 pm.

KeNHA said they are paving the way to facilitate the erection of the Nyayo roundabout footbridge.

“We wish to inform the public that a section of Lang’ata Road at the Nyayo Stadium Roundabout will experience disruptions.”

Motorists have been implored to use the Aerodrome Road into Uhuru Highway.

The Lang’ata bound traffic will be diverted into the Lang’ata -Nairobi bound lanes.

Further, KeNHA has advised motorists to follow the proposed traffic management plans and cooperate with traffic marshals on site.

Motorists have been urged to exercise caution and road courtesy for better management of traffic.
