The Pharaohs have earned extra AFCON titles than others in Africa, having ripped off the prize over seven events.

Cameroon is the second most prosperous country in AFCON history.

They have grabbed five crowns over the years, with their most current victory arriving in 2017.

Can the hosts eliminate the most championed team and claim another title on Thursday? 

The Cameroon team is unbeaten in AFCON with emphasising from their Football president Samuel Etoo to grab that trophy. 

They have picked up four wins and a draw on their way to the semi-finals.

After bagging seven points from an apparent nine to end the group A campaign at the top,  they whipped Comoros in the round of 16 before seeing off the Gambia in the quarter-finals.

The Indomitable Lions have netted over 1.5 goals in four of their five tournaments during the Africa Cup of Nations, collecting 11 goals in five games.

Cameroon only survived once to keep a clean sheet in their five trips admitting a single goal in each of their first four games.

As for Egypt, they only lost their debut game to Nigeria before winning against Guinea-Bissau and Sudan to complete their group crusade second in Group D.
