11 presidential hopefuls disqualified for failing to meet the deadline of naming running mates

IEBC chairperson Wafula Chebukati says the remaining 44 hopefuls have 48 hours to present at least 2000 signatures in hard and soft copies backed by copies of ID Cards of supporters from 24 counties to back their bids. Those who meet the requirements will present themselves before the commission between the 29th and 6th of June for clearance.
