A total of 18,005,808 vaccines have been administered across the country as of May 14th with 16,353,974 doses administered to the adult population.
Another 1,306,931 doses have been administered to those between 15 to 17 years, 32,430 to those between 12 and 15 years while 312,473 are booster doses.
The total number of vaccines administered in the last 24 hours is 2,221 while the total number of people fully vaccinated in the last 24 hours is 977.
At the same time 15 people have tested positive for the disease, from a sample size of 2,285 tested in the last 24 hours, with the positivity rate now at 0.7%.
From the cases 9 are Kenyans while 6 are foreigners. 8 are males, 7 females while the youngest is a 9-year-old child and the oldest is 72 years old.
14 of these cases were reported in Nairobi while one was reported in Kisumu.
This even as 12 patients recovered from the disease, all of them are from the Home Based and Isolation Care.
A total of 4 patients are currently admitted in various health facilities countrywide, while 231 are under the Home-Based Isolation and Care program.
