– Three of the confirmed cases were from Thika Police Station and the other 17 were from Makongeni Police Station

– At least six police officers in Kiambu county have also tested positive since the virus was confirmed in Kenya
At least 20 remandees in Makongeni and Thika police stations have tested positive for the dreaded coronavirus.
Confirming the incident, Kiambu county police commander Ali Nuno said 17 of the cases were from Makongeni Police Station and three others at Thika Police Station.
The man in uniform was among six law enforcers stationed to guard the Agricultural Training Centre, an isolation facility set aside by the Ministry of Health for coronavirus patients.
The coronavirus cases in the country have continued to increase despite government’s appeal to Kenyans to observe social distancing and other COVID-19 regulations.
