Man charged with sodomising boy, 12 : The Standard

A man yesterday was charged at a Nakuru court with sodomy.
Edward Kariuki (pictured) was accused of sodomising a 12-year-old boy.
He appeared before Senior Resident Magistrate Eunice Kelly.

According to the prosecutor, Rita Rotich, Kariuki kidnapped the boy while he was on his way home on October 24 at around 5pm and forced him into a saloon car.
He took him to a house in Flamingo Estate and sodomised him.

Defence Lawyer Geoffrey Otieno pleaded for lenient bond terms.
Kariuki was released on a Sh500,000 bond. The case will be mentioned on November 5.
