Jamii Telecom’s Faiba 4G network is currently down. All services including network access, calls, data, MiFi, and app access are currently un-usable. This has been the case for the past few hours, with customers from different parts of the country complaining. It seems the issue is countrywide.
From the official Twitter handle, Faiba hasn’t addressed any of the issues raised despite numerous complains from users on the platform.
It seems Faiba JTL customers – fixed home internet services – are also affected by the outage. The official JTL Twitter handle has been booking customer tickets from complains of lack of internet access.
Users affected should forward complaints to the Communication Authority of Kenya as such unexplained downtimes need not be happening in 2022.
