Another gruesome shooting makes headlines! Cop shoots 22-year-old bae in mouth

Shooting incidences in Kenya are on the rise. Days after the tragic shooting of businessman Kevin Omwenga in Kilimani, another needless death occurs due to a fatal shooting.

A 22-year old woman is fighting for her life at Kenyatta National Hospital after she was shot by her boyfriend, a police officer in Igembe North, Meru County.

Constable David Nyamweya is on the run after the Saturday incident.

He is said to have summoned the woman to Laare Police station, where he shot her in the mouth after an altercation outside the canteen.

He was disarmed but managed to escape as his colleagues attended to the woman.

The motive of the shooting is yet to be known.
