APICAH FURNITURE DIRECTOR CHARGED. | Nairobi Times

A director with Apicah Furniture limited has been charged with several counts of issuing bad cheque amounting to Sh 735,485.

Monicah Mukuhi Macharia appeared before Milimani Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi and denied the charges.

Mukuhi is accused that on November 21, last year in Nairobi county issued a cheque for Sh 735,485 to Keshra Lakhian Vekariya drawn on account DIB Bank in the name Apicah Furniture limited with knowledge that the said account had insufficient funds.

The court heard that she also issued several bad cheque with different dates between November and December last year

She was released on a cash of Sh 50,000 after her lawyer told the court she had deposited cash Sh 500,000 on the complaint account and she would pay the rest with 60 days.
