Bestrock Sacco to construct office block

The Bestrock Savings and Credit Cooperative Society plans to construct its own building within Kitui town to save money spend on rental costs.

The society’s chairman Francis Muli Kithae the building will also ensure that they enough office space.

The Sacco will construct the building within the Kitui Town’s Central Business District (CBD).

“In order to achieve that, I’m proposing that our members should start contributing a minimum of Sh5,000 shares per member,” he said.

He assured members that they will be allowed to borrow against the amount and will also get dividends from the investment.

The corporate clubs will be the first shareholders in this initiative using the monies already in the Sacco.
