A
day after controversial pastor Victor Kanyari dismissed his ex-wife Betty Bayo
telling her to move on, the later has responded, spiling the bills on their marriage
that fell apart.

The
eleventh-hour hitmaker revealed that staying in the union with Kanyari was one
of her greatest regrets in life, opening up on her tribulations in the hands of
the ‘man of God’.

In
an interview on her YouTube Channel, Bayo admitted that it was a mistake that
she moved in with Kanyari as husband and wife barely three weeks after they
met.

“Though I was still a Christian, and still saved, I moved
in with a man 3 weeks after we met with no wedding or anything legal ata affidavit hakuna (not
even an affidavit),” stated
Bayo.

She
revealed that although she occasionally attended Kanyari’s church, the latter
was careful not to introduce her to any member of his congregation.

Kanyari would tell her to lie that they had tied the knot in a private ceremony to anyone who asked about their union.

Fights
were common in the union that fell apart after investigative journalist Mohamed
Ali exposed the ‘man of God’ for his fake miracles in which he used potassium Permanganate
and would demand Ksh. 310 from congregants before any prayer.

“Nilienda come-we-stay sorry,
I mean come-we-fight.
I moved in with a man whose full names I barely even knew. Everyday things were
unfolding but I did not keep the social distance. I got pregnant,” explained the hit maker.

She added
that she has moved on and is no longer in love with the disgraced pastor
despite posting a series of heart-warming messages on social media,
appreciating the father of her two children.
