New details have emerged that on the ruling Jubilee Party’s intentions to crack the whip on the Deputy President William Ruto allies for disrespecting the party leader President Uhuru Kenyatta.

It has been reported that six Tangatanga lawmakers would face disciplinary action for constantly attacking the ruling party leader.

An inside source privy to the information revealed that the six National Assembly members will face the disciplinary committee very soon.

“We have six MPs we want to take through the disciplinary process for constantly abusing the president and openly going against the party position. The cases will be consolidated with those of five nominated Senators,” the source stated.

The source also disclosed why the five nominated Senators are yet to face their verdict as the National Executive Committee is set to address their case together with that of the Six MPs from DP Ruto’s camp.

“It is on this basis that NEC has not sat to deliberate on the report of the National Disciplinary Committee on the give senators. We want them dispensed within a single seating,” the source added.

The six Jubilee MPs set to face disciplinary actions include Soy MP and Jubilee Deputy Secretay General Caleb Kositany, Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri, Kandara MP Alice Wahome, Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria and Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua.

The MPs risk losing their Parliamentary seats if finally expelled from the party, however, the process might take long as Tangatanga MPs might dispute the move to remove them from office.
