A section of women leaders from West Pokot County, led a peace walk to sensitize residents on the need to maintain peace during the upcoming general election. According to West Pokot county assembly speaker Catherine Mukenyang women bear the biggest brunt of electoral-related violence hence the need for them to be more aggressive in supporting peace efforts.
