News reaching the Litkenya.com desk is that former Attorney General Charles Njonjo is dead. He was 102.

The former Cabinet Minister passed away in Nairobi on Saturday, October 9.

It was not revealed what he died from.

Njonjo was last surviving member of the Independence Cabinet.

The former Minister was a man full of life even his advanced age and would from time to time visit various tourists destinations across the world to enjoy nature.

He married his wife Margaret Bryson when he was 52.

Together they were blessed with two children, Wairimu and Josiah.
