The Communications Authority of Kenya has commenced construction of telecommunication masts in four sub-locations in Tana River County, under the second phase of the Universal Service Fund to avail telecommunication services in the under-served areas. The Ministry of ICT, Innovation and Youth Affairs Principal Administrative Secretary Erick Kiraithe sounded a warning over the increased vandalism of telecommunication infrastructure.
