Activist and former Bungoma County senatorial candidate Okiya Omtatah is mourning the death of his daughter Maryanne Anuarite Omtatah.
The 21-year-old, who was a third-year student at Riara University studying diplomacy and international relations, passed away on Friday after suffering from acute malaria.
Maryanne was in a comma at Nairobi Hospital’s ICU for a week before she died.
