Diamond has the most YouTube subscribers in the whole of Sub-Saharan Africa.
Three days ago, Diamond Platnumz YouTube account got hacked. The culprits are bitcoin scammers known as ‘ARK Invest and have since gone live on the page with cryptocurrency news. YouTube has since suspended the account due to violating its community guidelines.
“Diamond Platnumz YouTube channel was hacked last Sunday and the hacker(s) proceeded to go live. The content that the hackers aired didn’t go down well with YouTube as it violated its guidelines and that was the reason it was terminated,” the Wasafi team has said. Diamond is the most popular African artist on YouTube with over 6.5 million subscribers and 742 videos. Since the occurrence, Diamond has reportedly deleted the link to his YouTube channel from his social media following the ordeal.
The Wasafi team is working on having the channel restored.
