This is the first time that Diamond and The Ben have collaborated.
Paired with a music video reminiscent of classic RnB music, a technique Diamond has employed in most of his music videos in recent years, comes Diamond’s first collaboration with The Ben.
The song called “Why” is currently trending in various countries worldwide including in Canada at number 26 and in Kenya at number 10. Although the audio to the song was released on January 2nd, the video has only just been released. The song comes a week after the Tanzanian crooner clocked 6 M subscribers on YouTube.
Benjamin Mugisha, The Ben, featured in this new RnB track is a Rwandese singer-songwriter who joins a long list of African musicians Diamond has worked with. The Ben made history in 2010 when he was invited to perform at the 2010 World Cup in Johannesburg, South Africa.
