DP Ruto reiterates commitment to free and fair primaries

Deputy President William Ruto has reiterated his commitment to a free and fair UDA party primaries saying he will take charge of the process.

The party is expected to hold its primaries on 10th April in readiness for the August 9th contest.

UDA National Elections Board has already summoned aspirants for meetings to be held across 34 counties to sensitize them on the primaries.

At the same time DP Ruto has lauded aspirants who have dropped their bids to support their rivals.

This after James Mutiso aka Kissinger decided to to support Ms Anastacia Muthini Muendo for the Yatta Constituency parliamentary seat.

The same was replicated Kipipiri, with DP Ruto saying, “Good gesture by Francis Chihi for backing East Africa Legislative Assembly MP Wanjiku Muhia for the Kipipiri Parliamentary seat. Chihi will concentrate on Presidential campaigns.”
