Embarrassing Video of Bahati Crying For Raila’s Attention Emerges: ‘Matthew’

A video of former gospel musician Kevin Bahati straining to get the attention of Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga has surfaced online.

The video was taken on Sunday at the Azimio One Kenya coalition party event at Kamukunji Grounds.

This was when Raila was introducing Nairobi parliamentary candidates in attendance.

Apparently, Bahati’s name was not on the list the former Prime Minister was reading.

Before Raila called out Lang’ata parliamentary candidate comedian Jalang’o, the singer repeatedly said, “Bahati, Mathare.”

Hilariously, Raila did not get Bahati’s name and ended up calling him “Matthew”.

Bahati stepped in on the viral video by sharing it on social media and declaring that he embraced Raila Odinga’s new name, ‘Mathew.’

“Baba has given me a new name, Bahati Kioko a.k.a. Mathew, which I have accepted,” he wrote.
