Speaking at the Kalonzo Musyoka Foundation (KMF) offices in Karen while receiving more food donations from Prestige Industrial Services Limited, Kalonzo says that the constitution 2010 guarantees equity of resources and thus the Senate should work out a mechanism that will help the country move forward.

The Wiper leader said the Senate leaders must embrace dialogue warning that intolerance is the worst form of dictatorship.

Kalonzo emphasised on the need to significantly increase the share of the equalization fund so that those who might lose money in the final agreed formula will be properly compensated through the fund.

He also urged for the speedy enactment of the subsidiary legislation on the equalization fund both in the National Assembly and the Senate to make sure that the funds are significantly increased from the current 0.5 % so that those who feel left out are properly catered for.

On COVID-19, Kalonzo urged Kenyans not to stigmatize those that have been infected and have survived the virus but rather celebrate and encourage them.

The Wiper leader made the remarks at the Kalonzo Musyoka Foundation (KMF) offices in Karen while receiving more food donations from Prestige Industrial Services Limited led by their CEO Eng. Francis Mulekya to the KMF FOOD BASKET INITIATIVE.
