In a decisive move to consolidate the Presidency’s authority, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has declared an end to the “disrespect” directed at Head of State William Ruto. Speaking from Bomet County on Wednesday, the Deputy President signaled a shift in the administration’s tactical approach to the opposition, moving from silent tolerance to open confrontation.
Kindiki, appearing emboldened by a series of multi-billion shilling development projects, characterized the President’s critics as “lesser political stature” individuals who have failed the Kenyan people in the past.

Kindiki’s 19B Shilling Ultimatum to Ruto Critics
During an inspection of government projects in Chepalungu, Bomet County, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki issued a stern warning to opposition leaders, declaring that insults against the President will no longer be tolerated.
Describing critics as small-time characters of lesser political stature, the Deputy President stated he has asked the President to let him handle those who degrade the high office. He argued that respect must be mutual, questioning how leaders can demand presidential conduct while spending their time insulting the Head of State.
This political stand was backed by a massive infrastructure showcase, as the Deputy President highlighted nineteen point five billion shillings‘ worth of road projects across Bomet, including the two point one billion shilling Kyogong-Sigor-Chebunyo network.
He emphasized that the President deserves two terms for stabilizing the economy and initiating landmark projects such as the Standard Gauge Railway extension from Naivasha to Kisumu.
With twelve point two billion shillings allocated to Bomet for affordable housing and modern markets, Kindiki made it clear that the administration’s development record is the ultimate answer to its critics.
