Comedian Eric Omondi has posted a video of himself showing off loads of money, claiming it was Ksh3 million.

It was apparently a clapback at Kenya Film Classifications Board CEO Ezekiel Mutua, who had dismissed the comedian as a poor person.

The moral cop, who was speaking on Milele FM, was asked to comment on Omondi reportedly giving Bahati Ksh200,000 following the cancellation of a deal between him and the KFCB, said:

“There is no money he gave out. Omondi is a poor man. Those are theatrics they use to show off. Which account did he use? They use such methods to jeer the government but they give out no cash. All these are poor people, who need help. Why did he wait until the last minute to give out the cash?”

The two have had a bad relationship since the cancellation of Omondi’s reality show dubbed, Wife Material, on claims that it has immoral content. Omondi, who is currently in Tanzania, for a stadium tour, vowed to get Ezekiel out of KFCB by September.

Kenyan entertainers who have heard about the exchange, rallied behind Omondi.

Here are some of the comments:

Yy comedian: “Mutua must go!”

Mulamwah: “Huyu awachane na sisi ( this one should leave us alone).”
