GTC’s design model
Nairobi Global Trade Centre (GTC), is East Africa’s first ultra-premium complex with an office tower, JW Marriott luxury 5-star hotel, an opulent apartment community and a boutique mall.
The office tower sets multiple records by being the tallest office tower in East Africa at 184 Metres (603-ft), soaring over the rest of Nairobi all the way to the 42nd floor.
Catering to the all too common issue of inadequate parking space, GTC office tower provides a total of 1037 parking slots. Parking ratio is as high as 100:2
High up in the sky, is the 337-380ft (103-116m) apartment tower – the tallest of its kind in East Africa. Four towers make up for the 514 apartments, with two blocks hosting serviced apartments and the other two with apartments for sale.
GTC’s opulent apartment community
The GTC complex was designed by Triad Architects and GMP International Architects – a project that has seen AVIC International Real Estate invest over 40 billion shillings to date.
The building has adopted a modern, avant-garde architectural style as its general design concept with a linear glossy facade that emphasises its impressive height and simplistic lines.
GTC’s location, in the heart of Westlands – Nairobi’s emerging Central business district, makes the tower a primary preference for the headquarters of Fortune Global 500 companies and renowned African enterprises looking to leverage the mixed-use development.
GTC’s luxurious dual lobby boasts a 36-ft (11m) floor-to-ceiling height, highlighting the grand scale of this development. The office tower is fitted with 12 ultra-high-speed lifts to boost efficiency and movement. Each lift has capacity for 26 passengers.
The entire complex is superior in both eco-friendliness and visual experience, with the office spaces designed to enable maximum freedom of customisation.
