Kenyans online this morning have moved to support CS Mutahi Kagwe in his efforts to clip the wings of troublemakers believed to be affiliated to cartels at Afya House.
Under the hashtag #FixingMoH, netizens were optimistic that the former Nyeri Senator is capable of bringing down the cartels at Afya House.
Mutahi seemed to have rattled the cartels when he recently authorized the transfer of over 30 officers from the ministry’s headquarters at Afya House
“This building has got its fair share of criminals. Like any other marketplace, there are a few mad cases in here. And we will unearth them. As we move on, we will unearth them,” he said. Briefing the media on the Covid-19 status at Afya House Nairobi, recently Kagwe promised to deal with the “criminal elements” without fear or favour.
Netizens noted that Cs Mutahi Kagwe is regaining Kenyan trust by firing corrupt cartels. He will fix all the messy things and the lost trust will be back.
CS Kagwe is a Performer & Reformer.
Don’t forget that it was during Kagwe’s tenure as Minister for ICT in Kibaki’s government that Safaricom’s M-Pesa was launched, the first-ever mobile money transfer system in the world then.#FixingMOH pic.twitter.com/XCSwDoyuww— Kevin Munyui🇰🇪 (@ismunyui) July 7, 2020
Before Kagwe was appointed, Health Ministry was colorless, those at the helm were clueless and confused. The Ministry was the hotbed of Cartels, incompetence and scandals. #FixingMOH pic.twitter.com/8slFGW82Q8
