Fugitive Cop Caroline Kangogo Commits Suicide at Her Parents’ Home

Policewoman Caroline Kangogo, who has been on the run, is dead, the police have confirmed.

The body of Corporal Kangogo was found in a bathroom just a few metres from her parents’ house in Keiyo, Elgeyo-Marakwet County.

A police statement indicates that the alleged killer cop committed suicide by shooting herself.

A pistol that she reportedly used to kill herself was recovered at the scene.

For the last 13 days, detectives have been pursuing her after she was linked to the deaths of two men.

On Sunday, 4th July, she reportedly shot dead John Ogweno, who was a junior police officer in Nakuru Town. His body was found inside his car in a parking.

The two were said to have been cohabiting.

Barely 24 hours later, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) investigations reported that she had allegedly killed businessman Peter Ndwiga in Juja, Kiambu County. Unconfirmed reports indicated that Ndwiga and Kangogo were an item a few years ago, but their relationship did not last.
