The national women’s soccer team Harambee Starlets will face South Sudan in their 2022 Africa Women’s Cup of nations qualifier. The 2022 finals will be held in Morocco July 2nd -23RD2022.
According to draw conducted, Monday at Confederation Of African Football, CAF, head quarters in Cairo Egypt, Harambee Starlets will host the first leg scheduled later next month .
The aggregate winner will advance to the second and final round of the qualifiers where 11 teams will clinch slots to participate at the women’s Cup of nation’s finals.
Three top teams from the finals will automatically qualify for the 2023 Women’s World Cup in New Zealand and Australia .

In some of the first round fixtures pitting CACAFA member countries Ethiopia will play Uagnda,Tanzania will play Namibia, while Eritrea will face Burundi, Rwanda will be up against Djibouti while Sudan will play Algeria.
