‘I Thought My Life Was Over,’ Kate Actress Recalls The Lowest Moment of Her Life – LitKenya

She may be having the greatest time of her life, but Kate Actress, real name, Catherine Kamau, has had to work pretty hard.

Kate Actress, who doubles as a model, is remembered for her role as Celina in the Citizen TV Mother-in-Law drama series.

What many may not know is that the actress has not had it all rosy, as there were times that she really struggled to make ends meet.

Today, 5th July, she revealed how she at some point felt that her life had almost come to an end.

Kate was celebrating the birthday of her son, whom she got when she was a teenager.

She recalled when she would hold her little son and cry hopelessly.

“I honestly thought my life was over here, this one night I was sitting on my bed crying. I thought he was asleep. He crawled up to me, lifted his litu hand and wiped my tears and said ‘chafuuuu ‘ (dirty) 😔,” she emotionally recalled.

The award-winning actress encouraged her fans to be strong and keep on pursuing their dreams.

“I am here to remind you that your situation, pain, hopelessness, is not PERMANENT.1. Accept it 2. Dream Again, 3. Work on it,” she advised.

She then wished her all-grown son a happy birthday.

“Happy 15th to my baby ❤️,” wrote the proud mother.

Kate her success in her life to her son, as she had to work hard to provide for him as his father was nowhere to be seen.

“My baby is 180 months today 😭. You changed my life in ways I could never imagine. You really are a blessing, always our good luck charm. You are the best big brother, my forever litu boy. May you grow in the fear of the Lord. May he protect you from evil. May he grant you wisdom. Happy birthday,” she penned down in yet another post

Kate’s son is now part of his mother’s marriage to popular film director Phil the Director, real name Philip Karanja.

She is now the mother of two as she also has a barely two-year-old daughter, Karla.

She is always grateful to her hubby for becoming the father her son desired.
