IEBC announces over 400,000 short-term jobs ahead of elections

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has announced a total of 418,192 short-term job opportunities ahead of the August 9th General Election.

Through an advert posted on the IEBC Website and in the local dailies, the electoral body seeks to recruit Deputy County Returning officers, Deputy Constituency Returning officers, Presiding officers, Deputy Presiding officers, Logistics officers and support electoral trainers.

IEBC further seeks to enlist ICT clerks, polling clerks, county based voter educators, constituency based voter educators and ward-based voter educators.

All interested parties should apply for the positions on IEBC’s online portal, where requirements for the slots will be available, and submit by May 5, 2022.
