Inside strategy to remove ‘Raila-man’ label around Mudavadi
Raila Odinga
ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi has been advised to remove the ‘Raila man’ label if he ever wants to command a following in Western Kenya. In an elaborate strategy seen by this writer, Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula will also shelve any ambitions of being the Luhya kingpin, and throw his weight behind Mudavadi as the region’s political spokesperson.
”Hon. Moses Wetangula to publicly endorse Hon. Musalia Mudavadi as the Western kingpin and the preferred presidential candidate from Mulembe nation in an attempt to rally all Luhya Nation behind Mudavadi,” reads the document in part.
Authors of this plan have identified the need to incorporate vocal MPs from the Western region to help in executing this scheme. The lawmakers, the plot specifies, will be required to sustain the anti Mudavadi-Raila unity.
The ANC leader has been advised to sustain attacks on the person of Raila Odinga and his leadership style, these attacks are meant to specifically put a wedge between the two leaders and in turn remove the ‘Raila man’ label around Mudavadi.
”Hon. Mudavadi to occasionally issue press releases scorning and undermining Hon.Raila Odinga. This will further create and wide the rift between Hon. Raila Odinga and Hon.Mudavadi. The objective is to remove the “Raila-man” label around Hon. Mudavadi and ring fence The Western Block,” the strategy outlines.
In coming weeks the former VP has been urged, to continuously pour cold water on the BBI and the proposed referendum and paint the Handshake as anti-wanjiku.
”The parties will sustain attacks on the BBI and the Handshake and make it look like Hon.Raila Odinga’s political advancement tool rather than not for national interests.”
