IPOA launches probe into shooting of protesters

The Independent Policing Oversight Authority has dispatched a team of investigators to probe the circumstances under which 4 people were shot dead by Police in Masimba trading Center along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway. IPOA says it will seek to establish whether the police acted outside the laid down procedure in quelling demonstrations.
