All-time great Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt and his partner, Kasi Bennett, on Sunday, 20th June, as the world celebrated Father’s Day, announced the birth of twin boys, who have been named Thunder Bolt and Saint Leo Bolt.

The sportsman took to his Instagram account to share the news with his followers by posting a nice family photo. He, however, didn’t reveal when the twins were born.

In the picture Bolt is seen alongside his girlfriend with their first child, Olympia Lighting Bolt, who was born in May last year.

Meanwhile, Bennett also posted the same photo with an emotional message to Bolt: “Happy Father’s Day to my forever love! @usainbolt You are the rock of this family and the greatest daddy to our little ones. We love you world without end!”

Bolt, who won eight gold medals at the 2008, 2012, and 2016 Games, will not be competing int the Tokyo Olympics next month after having retired from athletics in 201,7 when he finished third in his last solo 100m race.

He tried to turn to professional football but failed to secure a contract and retired from all sport in 2019.

The 34-year-old holds the world records for 100 metres and 200 metres. He is the only sprinter to win the 100m and 200m double at three consecutive Olympics.

He is also the first athlete to win four World Championship titles in the 200m and is one of the most successful in the 100m with three titles.
